Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 26, 2025

1. Introduction

CPUKit is a utility application that provides detailed information about your Android device such as CPU, GPU, battery, display, sensors, memory, network, and more. This privacy policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

2. Data We Collect

The app reads and displays various device-level technical details, including:

- CPU information (model, cores, architecture, clock speed)
- GPU details (vendor, renderer, load)
- System and OS info (Android version, build ID, API level)
- Memory and storage (total/available RAM, internal storage)
- Battery data (status, health, voltage, temperature)
- Display details (resolution, density, refresh rate)
- Sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, etc.)
- Network and connectivity (IP address, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC)
- Camera specifications (modes and supported features)

3. Location Permission

CPUKit requests device location permission (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION / ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) solely to provide network-related information such as Wi-Fi frequency bands or nearby network data. We do not track, share, or sell your location data. You can deny this permission; most features will continue to work normally.

4. How We Use Data

- To display real-time system and hardware information on your device.
- To improve app performance and fix crashes.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

5. Data Storage & Retention

All information is processed locally on your device. CPUKit does not store or transmit your personal or device data to any server unless you voluntarily send feedback or crash reports.

6. Third-Party Services

If CPUKit uses analytics or crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics), only anonymous diagnostic data may be shared to improve stability. We do not integrate advertising or tracking SDKs.

7. Security

We apply reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no system can be 100% secure. We recommend using the app only from official sources like Google Play.

8. Children’s Privacy

CPUKit is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available within the app and on the Play Store listing.
